We make software, and we make software well — for ourselves and for the people who hire us.
Why upwwards, with two w's?
The idea was simple: a company that only moves one direction — upwards. Better software, better than yesterday, every release.
The second w? Honest answer: upwards.com was taken. So we doubled down — literally — and the extra letter became the logo. We'd rather own a quirk than rent a compromise.
“The only direction we ship is up.”
One company, two arms.
The two halves feed each other. Services keep us sharp and fund what we build; products are where that work becomes something lasting.
Services
We build new projects, support running software, advise on technical decisions, and rescue AI-generated codebases through Patchlane. Senior engineers, direct line, no middle layer.
Products
Software we own end to end. We pick problems we understand, build carefully, and ship for the long haul. First up: restaurant management.
Four habits we don't negotiate.
Finish things
A demo is not a product. We are judged by what survives in production, not what looked good in a pitch.
No middle layer
You talk to the people writing your code. No account managers translating between you and the work.
Patch, don't panic
Rewrites are the most expensive form of fear. We fix the load-bearing parts and leave the rest alone.
Plain talk
Clear scopes, clear prices, clear risks. If something is a bad idea, we'll tell you before you pay for it.
Tell us what you're building — or what's breaking.
New build, ailing codebase, or a second opinion — send a few lines and we'll reply within two business days.
